While we love Aussies, they have characteristics and requirements that some may find difficult to manage. Please read and initial the following:

"The Australian Shepherd is a medium size, active breed which sheds its coat biannually. They are curious and need to remain active and involved with their family in order to maintain a solid temperament. Aussies will show guarding behavior, including barking to alert for changes in the environment. Because they are a herding breed, they will chase and nip at the heels of young children as well as moving objects. Prolonged confinement and neglect can produce aggression in this breed. They are a sensitive dog and do not respond well to hard handling. Positive reinforcement methods, regular training and socialization as well as a structured loving home life are best for the Australian Shepherd." Thank you for filling out this questionnaire!

Our puppies are born and raised 100 % in our home using the puppy culture method of puppy rearing and are exposed to many different people, scenarios, and stimuli. We believe this gives the puppy a good foundation to be a well balanced adult. We are firm believers in proper balanced training throughout the dog’s life so that your dog can reach its full potential.

Thank you for interest in a Zaneca Aussies puppy. We look forward to helping you add to your family in a manner that is symbiotic to both parties. That is why even though we always keep in mind the color preferences of our clients, we do not place puppies based solely on color choice alone. From the day one, puppies are evaluated for temperament and natural instinct. We also use puppy culture in our program. We strive to create the best environment possible for our puppies while in our care so that they are on the right track for training and life when they go to their new homes.
